Transportation for students with physical disabilities at the University of Rijeka
Students with disabilities at the University of Rijeka have access to transportation in an adapted vehicle, with priority given to students with physical disabilities who cannot use public transport.
Transportation for students with disabilities includes travel from their place of residence within Rijeka and the surrounding area to the relevant constituent unit of the University of Rijeka, as well as to other locations related to the fulfilment of study obligations, and vice versa.
The specialised transportation service is currently provided in cooperation with the Association “Znam” as part of the “Centre for Support to Students and Young People with Disabilities” project, with financial support from the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy of the Republic of Croatia and the University of Rijeka.

Borrowing Specialised Equipment
Academic accommodations centre of the University Counselling Centre has specialised equipment (small laptops, handheld scanners, desktop and handheld electronic magnifiers, Braille notebooks, laptops with built-in speech units, screen readers, and software for magnifying content on the screen, etc.) that can be used by students with disabilities, subject to availability.
