Maša is a graduate psychologist, youth worker, and music worker. She is a Gestalt psychotherapy trainee. She is the Head of the Academic Adjustment Counselling Centre. She also works as an external associate at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Studies in Rijeka. Maša also leds music workshops for children and young people with developmental disabilities at the A. Jug-Matić Music Association. She enjoys developing the social and emotional skills of young people, whilst also encouraging them to engage in the community.

Ana is a psychologist working as a counselor at the Psychological Counseling Center. She is a psychotherapist of Cybernetics and systemic therapy, an ECP Holder. Her areas of great interest are research in the field of emotions, cognition, perception, as well as human behavior in different contexts and situations. The most important thing for her is the ro apply knowledge from psychology and psychotherapy to improve people’s lives in general.

Sara s a psychologist working as a counsellor at the Psychological Counselling Centre. She is undergoing supervision in behavioural-cognitive therapy. The most fulfilling aspect of her job is working with young people. Sara believes that, with the right support, understanding and committed work on themselves, everybody can fulfill their potential and find a way towards a complete and meaningful life. Whilst working, she seeks to ensure a safe and supporting space in which everyone can be heard and empowered to achieve the changes they seek. In her free time, Sara likes to spend time in nature, enjoying the walks and the company of her family and friends, who are the source of joy and balance.
Veronika is a psychologist working as a counsellor at the Psychological Counselling Centre. She is undergoing supervision in behavioural-cognitive therapy and follows those principles in her work at the Centre. In her free time, she plays volleyball and enjoys long walks with her two dogs.

Dr Martinac Dorčić is part of the expert team at the Academic Adjustment Counselling Centre and has coordinated its work from the beginnigs of the Centre. Tamara is an associate professor at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, where she teaches the following courses: Teaching Students with Special Needs, Psychology of Childhood and Adolescence, Developmental Psychology, and Developmental Psychopathology.

dr. sc. Sanja Smojver-Ažić is the coordinator of the Psychological Counselling Centre of the UCC and has been part of its professional team since the Centre’s inception. Sanja is a professor at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, where she teaches the following courses: Psychology of Mature Age and Ageing, Developmental Psychology, and Psychology of Parenting. She is actively involved in the quality assurance system at the University of Rijeka and, through her scientific and professional work, focuses on the psychological adjustment of students.

Prof. Zoran Sušanj, PhD, is the Head of the University Counselling Centre and the coordinator of the Career Office. Zoran is a full professor at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, where he is also the head of the Centre for Applied Psychology. He teaches Organisational Psychology, Leadership Psychology, and Organisational Development. He also teaches subjects in the broader field of work and organisational psychology at various graduate and postgraduate programmes in Croatia and abroad. At the University of Rijeka, he is chairman of the University Strategy Committee and advisor to the Rector for strategic management and human resources.

Nikoleta has a Master’s degree in Economics and Psychology and is currently the Head of the Career Office at the University of Rijeka Counselling Centre. She conducts counselling, educational, informational, and research activities for students and alumni of the University of Rijeka. She is currently a PhD student at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, and a student in the second level of training in cognitive behavioural therapies. She enjoys roller skating and spending time in nature.
