Ivana is a graduate psychologist and a Gestalt psychotherapy educator under supervision. She works as a professional counsellor at the Psychological Counselling Centre. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, yoga, hiking, and climbing. She is particularly interested in interpersonal relationships, attachment, grief, and addiction.

Maša is a graduate psychologist, youth worker, and music worker. She is a Gestalt psychotherapy trainee. At SSC, she collaborates with the Academic Adjustment Counselling Centre and the Professional Guidance and Career Development Counselling Centre. She also works as an external associate at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka, and as a leader of music workshops for children and young people with developmental disabilities at the A. Jug-Matić Music Association. She enjoys developing the social and emotional skills of young people and encouraging them to engage in the community.

Ana is a psychologist who works as a counselor at the Psychological Counseling Center. Since 2018, she has been in psychotherapy education in Cybernetics and systemic therapy in Rijeka. Her areas of greatest interest are research in the field of emotions, cognition, perception, human behavior in different contexts and situations. The most important thing for her is the possibility of applying knowledge from psychology and psychotherapy in order to improve people’s lives in general.

Veronika is a psychologist who works as a counsellor at the Psychological Counselling Centre. She is undergoing supervision in behavioural-cognitive therapy and follows the same principles in her work at the centre. In her free time, she plays volleyball and enjoys long walks with her two dogs.

Dr Martinac Dorčić is part of the expert team at the Office for Students with Disabilities and has coordinated its work since its establishment. Tamara is an associate professor at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, where she teaches the following courses: Teaching Students with Special Needs, Psychology of Childhood and Adolescence, Developmental Psychology, and Developmental Psychopathology.

Dr sc. Sanja Smojver-Ažić is the coordinator of the Psychological Counselling Centre of UCC and has been part of its professional team since the centre’s inception. Sanja is a professor at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, where she teaches the following courses: Psychology of Mature Age and Ageing, Developmental Psychology, and Psychology of Parenting. She is actively involved in the quality assurance system at the University of Rijeka and, through her scientific and professional work, focuses on the psychological adjustment of students.

Prof. Zoran Sušanj, PhD, is the head of the University Counselling Centre and coordinator of the Career Office. Zoran is a full professor at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, where he is also the head of the Centre for Applied Psychology. He teaches Organisational Psychology, Leadership Psychology, and Organisational Development. He also teaches subjects in the broader field of work and organisational psychology at various graduate and postgraduate programmes in Croatia and abroad. At the University of Rijeka, he is chairman of the University Strategy Committee and advisor to the Rector for strategic management and human resources.

Nikoleta has a Master’s degree in Economics and Psychology and is currently the head of the Career Office at the University of Rijeka Counselling Centre. She is responsible for conducting counselling, educational, informational, and research activities aimed at students and alumni of the University of Rijeka. She is currently a PhD student at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, and a student in the second level of training in cognitive behavioural therapies. She enjoys roller skating and spending time in nature.
